Check out the two equator monuments in Quito, Ecuador
If you visit Quito, Ecuador, Le Mitad del Mundo is not exactly the center of the world. The center is actually located at the Museo de Sitio Inti-nan. They are about 250 meters apart. it is well worth visiting them both.
